Holidays are coming and there’s a chain of Coca Cola trucks busy driving through snowy landscapes and bringing delight to everybody they pass. Every year l like to challenge myself to succeed in something outside my comfort zone because as the saying goes- life is too short! This Sunday l’ll be completing my challenge for 2011 – a half ‘music’ marathon, having previously hiked for a week across Bavaria, sailed in a yacht across the Channel and tandem skydived 10,000ft in Whitchurch.

This last week I have found myself in the unfortunate position of having to do hospital visiting. As anyone who’s ever done it will know, visiting a relative can be a pretty tiring experience especially if the hospital isn’t on your doorstep (the one I’ve been visiting is 15 miles away).
